How to Use Rainbow Holographic HTV
- 1. Create and Mirror the Design: Prepare your logo, lettering or pattern in the cutting software and mirror the design before cutting.
- 2. Cut the HTV: Place the heat transfer vinyl with the carrier film facing down and cut the design using the appropriate blade settings.
- 3. Weed the Design: Remove the excess vinyl around and inside the design. The material is easy to cut and weed, making it suitable for both lettering and detailed graphics.
- 4. Preheat the Fabric: Preheat the garment briefly to remove moisture and smooth the application surface.
- 5. Position the Design: Place the weeded design on the fabric with the carrier film facing up. Check the position before pressing.
- 6. Heat Press: Apply 145–160°C (293–320°F) for 8–10 seconds with medium pressure.
- 7. Cold Peel: Allow the transfer to cool completely, then carefully peel away the carrier film.
- 8. Check the Transfer: Make sure the design is fully bonded to the fabric before handling or further processing.
Note: Test the transfer on the actual fabric before bulk production, as fabric composition and heat-press conditions can affect the final result.
